I have been asked to comment upon my experience of Finance Wales on a couple of recent deals they completed , funding my clients. ( Contract Services ( South Wales) Limited – larger deal  and Bowen Hopkins Limited – smaller one )

In both instances the deals involved share purchases.

One deal was a smaller £100k purchase with the other being circa £700k purchase. Finance Wales was able to partly fund these deals

In both instances I found the way in which Finance Wales handled the deals to be very professional

Both deals were done in a timely manner without any real issues

What I particularly liked about the £Contract Services Limited deal was the pragmatic approach that Finance Wales took with regards to the due diligence . Alun Thomas agreed that there was no need to get third party accountants involved to complete the financial  due diligence , he would be able to complete the work himself. The company has very healthy finances , excellent contracts in place and strong profits . I felt that this approach was a very sensible one. I am aware that the client was very impressed with the way Finance Wales handled the whole situation

On a general point I feel that Finance Wales does offer a good alternative to the banks and will look to use them further in the future
